Hammitt, Inc. ("Hammitt") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy is designed to comply with applicable privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

PERSONAL INFORMATION

ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
During the account registration process on Hammitt’s website, you are asked to provide certain information, such as your name, mailing address and/or zip code, country, email address, phone number, birth date or year and/or password.
COMMUNICATIONS
If you contact us in any manner whatsoever, we may keep a record of such correspondence.
LOG FILES
We use and maintain the information obtained through your browser on our server logs, IP addresses, browser type, ISP and other data to analyze trends, administer the website, detect fraud and gather demographic information.
WHAT WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION
We use information to display contents and products that may be of interest to you and to personalize your online experience. We may share such information with our business affiliates and third parties. All third parties that we share personal information with are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality of your information pursuant to a Data Processing Agreement (DOA) or equivalent data protection contract.
We may also disclose your personal information under court orders or other legal requests. We will notify you of such disclosure where legally permitted.
We may use your personal information to send you marketing communications, where permitted by applicable law. You may opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us at marketing@hammitt.com.
Your personal data collected by Hammitt is used to:
- Operate and improve Hammitt’s website, services and offerings available through Hammitt’s network

- Communicate with you and respond to your inquiries
- Share information with third-party service providers (e.g. payment processors, email platforms, advertising partners) pursuant to a Data Processing Agreement

CONSENT TO HAMMITT PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
By providing data to us for the purposes of creating your account or adding any additional details to your Hammitt profile, you are expressly accepting the terms of the Privacy Policy. For EEA/UK residents, processing based on consent requires a specific, freely given, informed, and unambiguous indication of agreement. Account registration does not constitute consent for optional processing activities such as direct marketing. You have the right to withdraw your consent to Hammitt’s collection and processing of your data at any time, by changing your settings, or by closing your account, but please note that your withdrawal of consent will not be retroactive.
HAMMITT COMMUNICATIONS
You can change your email and contact preferences at any time by logging into your account and changing your settings related to your email notification choices. If you wish, you can also opt out of receiving promotional emails by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link. Please be aware that you cannot opt out of receiving service messages from Hammitt.
Hammitt uses Zoom SMS for business communications. Hammitt does not use Zoom SMS for marketing campaigns. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.
AFFILIATES AND BUSINESS TRANSITIONS
We may share your information with its affiliates that are subject to comparable privacy protections. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your personal information may be part of the assets transferred.You may be notified via email and/or notice on Hammitt's website. Where required by law, we will provide prior notice and obtain consent before transferring personal data in connection with a business transition.
THIRD-PARTY OFFERS AND ADVERTISING
We allow marketing partners and affiliated companies to offer their products and services to you through Hammitt’s website or by email.
We may use your information to provide you with targeted advertisements. This activity may constitute "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under CPRA. See "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" below.
These advertisements link directly to third-party websites. Hammitt has no control over the content or privacy policies of such websites. We encourage you to review those policies before providing any personal information.
DO NOT SELL OR SHARE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION
Under the CPRA, California residents have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of their personal information. Hammitt may share personal information with third-party advertising partners (including through cookies and tracking technologies) in a manner that may constitute "sharing" under the CPRA. To opt out, please email marketing@hammitt.com with subject "Do Not Sell or Share". We will not discriminate against you for exercising this right.
GOOGLE ANALYTICS
Some or all of the Hammitt websites make use of Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting and other Google Analytics for Display Advertising features, including Remarketing, Google Display Network Impression Reporting and/or the DoubleClick Campaign Manager integration.
We are required by Google to disclose the following information to you in our Privacy Statement in connection with our use of any Google Analytics for Display Advertising features on the Hammitt Site:
- You may opt out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising or customize Google Display Network ads by using the Google Ads Settings page. You may also prevent your data from being collected and used by Google Analytics by opting out through the use of the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- If the Hammitt website makes use of the Google Analytics for Display Advertising Remarketing feature, Hammitt will use such Remarketing feature to advertise online and third party vendors, including Google, may show Hammitt ads on sites across the Internet.
- Hammitt and third party vendors, including Google, may use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookies) and third party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) together to (a) inform, optimize and serve ads based on a user’s past visits to the Hammitt website, and/or (b) report how your ad impressions, other uses of ad services, and interactions with these ad impressions and ad services are related to visits to the Hammitt website.
- Data from Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting may be utilized by Hammitt to help recognize and understand user preferences, to make improvements to the Hammitt Site, to choose content and advertising to display to you, and for other business purposes that will allow Hammitt to better serve you.
MICROSOFT CLARITY AND MICROSOFT ADVERTISING
We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud/security purposes, and advertising. BROWSER "DO NOT TRACK" SIGNAL
Although our websites currently do not have the technology to recognize the various web browser Do Not Track signals, we do offer our customers choices to manage their preferences that are provided in the previous sections above. PROTECTING CHILDREN
We do not permit children under the age of 13 to register or purchase any products, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, in accordance with Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA)
COOKIES
We use "cookies” to keep track of your online shopping cart, save your password, and improve your experience on our website. Where required by law, we obtain your consent before placing non-essential cookies. If you prefer to not use cookies, you can simply do so by disabling the feature on your web browser.
We use third party service providers to use identifiers such as IP addresses, cookies, and hashed versions of email addresses captured from your visit to our website so that we can use that information to reach out to visitors on our website through other channels, such as email and/or direct mail. SECURING YOUR INFORMATION
We practice a combination of technical, physical and administrative security controls that are designed to safeguard your information against unauthorized use. Your personal information will only be accessible by a limited number of Hammitt employees.
We strive to protect your personal information to the best of our ability: however, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of information you transmit to our websites. No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you and applicable regulators as required by law.
DATA RETENTION
Hammitt’s general data retention practices are as follows:
- Account Data: Retained for the duration of your account and for up to six (6) months after account deletion for backup, fraud prevention, and legal compliance purposes. Certain information (such as transaction records) may be retained longer where required by law.
- Usage Data and Logs: Retained for up to six (6) months for security, analytics, and system integrity purposes.
- Inactive Accounts: Accounts may be deactivated or deleted after two (2) years of inactivity, subject to applicable legal retention requirements.
- Cookies: Session cookies deleted on browser close; persistent cookies may remain longer. Manage via browser or cookie settings.
- Marketing Data: Retained until you opt out or request deletion.
- SMS Opt-in Data: Retained for the duration of your consent and up to six (6) months following opt-out for compliance purposes.
- Advertising and Analytics Data: Subject to applicable third-party platform retention policies (e.g., Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity).
HOW YOU CAN ACCESS OR CORRECT YOUR INFORMATION
DATA CHOICES
Hammitt provides you with ways in which you can modify your personal information. In order to change such information, please log in to Hammitt’s website and go to the "My Account” section and enter any desired changes. Please be aware that even after your request for a change is processed, Hammitt may, for a time, retain residual data about you in its backup and/or archival copies of its database.
CLOSING YOUR ACCOUNT
You can disable your account by contacting Hammitt at marketing@hammitt.com. If you close your Hammitt account, we will remove your personally identifiable data from our publicly viewable database. We may retain certain data for fraud prevention or for legitimate business purposes.
SMS COMMUNICATIONS
If you opt in to receive text messages from Hammitt, you agree to receive recurring automated or non-automated text messages (which may include marketing and transactional messages such as cart reminders; AI content; artificial or prerecorded voices) at the mobile number you provided. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at marketing@hammitt.com.
We may use service providers to facilitate text messaging, but we do not sell or share your SMS opt-in, phone number, or consent data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
RIGHT OF ACCESS
